Gynecologist, Obstetrician, Infertility Specialist
Dr Asha Baxi is an internationally trained infertility and IVF Specialist with a strong academic background.
Dr. Baxi has done her MBBS and MD from Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College, Indore and practised abroad in the fields of obstetrics & gynaecology for almost a decade.
She has been associated with Dr. Sadhana Desai, Dr. M Hansotia, Dr. Motashaw and Dr. Soonawalla. She acquired deep knowledge in infertility while working and training at Dewsbury, Northampton, Oxford and Bournehall Fertility Unit (where the world’s first IVF baby was conceived).
Dr Baxi is a keen researcher with many publications and numerous chapters in various books on infertility. She was also awarded the prestigious Dr. Kumud Tamaskar Award for her research in infertility and genital tuberculosis. She has also received the best publication prize in the Indian Journal of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.
